We uilise a proven system to
ensure European standard EN14214 compliant biodiesel.
Biodiesel is environmentally friendly being a low emission
fuel (80 - 95% less CO2 ). It contains no petroleum and is
biodegradable, non toxic and is a renewable energy.
Biodiesel is a clean-burning fuel made from processing new
or used vegetable oil.
We focus on recycling used vegetable oil collected, more often
than not, for free.
When utilising used vegetable oil, which is 100% recycled,
it significantly reduces waste in the environment.
FEWER EMISSIONS
International studies suggest biodiesel produces fewer emissions than regular diesel, and that it can, for the most
part, be used in unmodified diesel engines and can use
current fuelling infrastructure. It is safe, biodegradable,
and reduces serious air pollutants and toxins, such as
various types of particulate matter, carbon monoxide, and
uncombusted hydrocarbons.
Today’s diesel engines require a clean-burning, stable
fuel that performs well under a variety of operating
conditions.
USE IT IN UNMODIFIED DIESEL ENGINES
Biodiesel is the only known alternative fuel
that can be used directly in most existing, unmodified
diesel engines. Because it has similar properties to
petroleum diesel fuel, biodiesel can be blended in any ratio
with petroleum diesel.
It is said that the use of biodiesel can extend the life of
diesel engines because it is thought to be more lubricating
than petroleum diesel fuel. One of the major advantages of
biodiesel is the fact that it can be used in existing
engines and fuel injection equipment with little impact to
operating performance. Biodiesel shows similar fuel
consumption, horsepower, torque, and haulage rates as
conventional diesel fuel.
SAFE TO HANDLE
Our biodiesel is safe to handle and transport
because it is as biodegradable as sugar, 10 times less toxic
than table salt, and has a high flashpoint of about 125°C
compared to petroleum diesel fuel, which has a flash point
of 55°C – 58%C
When burned in a diesel engine, our biodiesel is
relatively odorless.

COMPATABILITY
Compatibility of biodiesel with engine components: In
general, biodiesel will soften and degrade certain types of
elastomers and natural rubber compounds over time. Using
high percent blends can impact fuel system components
(primarily fuel hoses and fuel pump seals), that contain
elastomer compounds incompatible with biodiesel.
Manufacturers recommend that natural or butyl rubbers not be
allowed to come in contact with pure biodiesel. Biodiesel
will lead to degradation of these materials over time,
although the effect is lessened with biodiesel blends. If a
fuel system does contain these materials and user’s wish
to fuel with pure biodiesel, replacement with compatible
elastomers is recommended. The recent switch to low sulphur
diesel fuel has caused many manufacturer’s to switch to
components suitable for use with biodiesel, but users should
contact us or their manufacturer for specific information.
GENERAL RULE
As a general guide, vehicles post 1995 require no
modification as suitable components including metal or
synthetic fuel lines and components are incorporated.
However, please check with us / or your vehicle manufacturer
for confirmation. We also recommend changing your fuel
filter after your first tank of biodiesel as biodiesel is a
good solvent and will wash out all the tars, gums and debris
left by mineral diesel in your fuel system.
